My name is Eoin. I am 28 and come from Newry. It is a town about 3 miles north of the border of Ireland on the east coast.

If Arsenal were to get this more wrong than right, I still think we would do better next season as Arteta’s biggest strength is arguably improving all the players at his disposal.

It is hard to comprehend the amount of information I have taken in over the last 18 hours. Yesterday afternoon’s statement from the Arsenal left me feeling bemused and slightly irritated.

I woke up this morning with the chant of “Aubameyang” still resonating in my head. This began to move from the silence of my mind into audible song – to the irritation of my better half who was still trying to sleep. I had some sympathy for the Charlton fan who may soon have to deal with a situation like that of Bury fans.

Sweet, sweet fourteen. A number that has plenty of meaning behind it for Arsenal. Players such as Eddie McGoldrick, Paul Davis, Alan Smith, and Perry Groves all wore it for multiple seasons.

Arsenal’s pursuit of Thomas Partey seems to be stuttering and stalling with every passing day. The Londoners have had multiple bids rejected by Atletico Madrid. The latest seemingly matching the valuation but with half constituting of wantaway Matteo Guendouzi.

It is a strange sensation to be finishing the league season in 8^th place, as of yet, without European qualification, with so many questions surrounding key members of the squad to answer and still have a greater sense of hope compared to the end of last season.

It was June 5^th, 1997 on the small windswept Isle of Man that Kieran Tierney took his first breath. The second born child of Michael & Gail Tierney, which surprisingly led to Kieran being pampered and spoiled in his early years, before eventually his father took active steps to make him more grounded.
