A little about us

Tom, owner and host of The Gooner Talk has been at the reigns for nearly 4 years. Starting out his podcasting journey at A Bergkamp Wonderland, Tom has gone on to break into writing with a number of sites, Outside of the Boot, Total Football Analysis and most recently Get Spanish Football News & the Modern Footballer Magazine. Tom’s love of football beyond the Arsenal, whom he has supported his entire life, extends most significantly to Spain and Austria. Here Tom loves to scour the nations for the next budding star. This bleeds into The Gooner Talk where Tom’s Tactical Breakdown shows educate viewers on players from across the world.

His long-term goals are to make football his life and for his whole focus to revolve around the sport.

Drew comes to us by way of New York City, and has been working with Tom since their days as regulars at A Bergkamp Wonderland. He has a wealth of experience in the sport as a player, coach, and writer. A lover of Dennis Bergkamp, German football, history, and perfectly cooked Bolognese. Drew remains motivated to fly the flag of Americans who are passionately obsessed with the beautiful game. Outside of podcasting and writing for TGT, he can be found on Twitter at @FMLehrer, and contributing at YouAreMyArsenal, Get German Football Network, Bundesliga Fanatic, and Outside of the Boot.

Jon has been an Arsenal fan for almost two decades after falling in love with football the way most Americans do, the World Cup. Although he supported Germany in the 2002 tournament and still follows them to this day, he fondly remembers the flashy play of the French side; a side that included such heavy hitters as Petit, Henry, and Vieira. It would be these titans who would make his choice of club very easy. He was an avid member of the Miami Arsenal Supporter’s Club (MASC), a large group of American supporters in South Florida, and created the Arsenal Miami Podcast in 2015. Since then, he has been a regular on The Gooner Talk. He can be found on twitter @305cast

Eoin is a budding young writer who became intertwined with TGT as a panellist and channel member. A life-long Arsenal fan from across the Irish Sea. The reason for his writing is purely for the love of personal stories and experiences that would otherwise be unheard. In his spare time he manages a local amateur football team, extending his love of the game even further. In 2005 Eoin was diagnosed with dyslexia, on the journey home from the appointment I said “mum what’s the name of the condition I have” she replied “it doesn’t matter son, you’ll never be able to spell it anyway ” who’s laughing now?
